RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour rotating shifts between days and nights
• 13-week assignment with self-scheduling flexibility
• Rotation schedule varies - could be one month of each shift, two weeks of each, or occasional one-week swaps
• Never swaps within a couple days or within the same week
• 2:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• 2 years of experience required with past critical care experience mandatory
• Float to like units as needed
• 3 weekend shifts required per contract
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: PALS, TNCC
• Cerner charting system experience highly preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with 20-bed unit capacity
• Skills include ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, IV insulin protocols, and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Must complete lab work within 72 hours of signing contract
• Non-billable modules required during orientation and annually (4-6 hours average)
