Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Work in the EP Lab with 2 rooms serving 8-12 patients per day
• Patient ratio of 1:5 working with adult to geriatric population
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT R or CCI RCIS or CCI RCES
• Block scheduling with every other weekend coverage unless specified otherwise
• Call requirements include staying past shift hours if on call that day, but no weekend call
• Work with Epic and Pyxis systems
• Scrubs provided by the facility
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed with blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• Holiday work required based on assignment period - work 1 holiday if 1 falls during assignment, work both if 2 fall during assignment, work 2 out of 3 if 3 fall during assignment
• Floating rare but possible within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Skills include electrophysiology lab procedures, interpretation of dysrhythmias, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, AICD insertion/programming, pacemaker insertion, tilt table studies, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, room circulation, scrubbing and maintaining sterile field
• Work with specialized equipment including BIOSENSE WEBSTER CARTO, ABBOTT ENSITE X, MICROPACE, and FARAPULSE BOSTON SCIENTIFIC
• 6 hours of orientation with full compliance required to start on time
• Flu vaccination required with medical/religious exemptions only

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
