RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work five 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Ambulatory OR experience preferred
• Scrub experience preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Pass/Fail EKG exam required for all RNs
• Participate in GI/Endoscopic procedures 3 days per week
• Work with patients of all age groups: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of approximately 20 patients
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Handle various surgical procedures including arthroscopy, endoscopic surgeries, ENT procedures, ophthalmology, orthopedic surgeries, and podiatry procedures
• Maintain infection control standards, fire safety protocols, and radiation safety procedures

The facility offers interdisciplinary support services including interpretation services, radiology, and unit secretary support.
