Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics - CRT NICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts
• Float between Adult and NICU units
• Every other weekend required with holiday coverage expected
• No on-call requirement
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• 2 years of experience as RRT in Adult Critical Care and NICU required
• 1 prior travel assignment completed required
• Required certifications: BLS, CRT, RRT, MD State licensure
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, NRP, PALS
• ED experience preferred
• Must be experienced with Draeger V500, Draeger VN500, and Servo U ventilators
• Perform airway management including endotracheal tube management, extubation, airway placement and suctioning
• Administer respiratory medications including Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, and others
• Operate various respiratory equipment including BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula
• Troubleshoot ventilator alarms and assist with weaning from mechanical ventilation
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and perform umbilical blood gases
• Must be comfortable drawing and analyzing ABGs
• Work with patients of all ages: neonates, infants, adults, and geriatrics
• Use Cerner charting system
• Wear ceil blue scrubs (not provided by facility)

This is a short-term acute care teaching hospital and member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals with 338 total staffed beds. The facility provides comprehensive respiratory services with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services and rapid response teams. The organization maintains modern equipment and specialized units to serve both adult and neonatal patient populations requiring critical respiratory care.
