RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (3x12 schedule)
• Up to 2 weekends per month required
• Float to Medical-Surgical units as patient volume requires
• Holiday coverage required
• Blocked scheduling may be considered if requested upfront but not guaranteed
• 5:1 patient to RN ratio with goal of 4:1
• Average daily census of 20-24 patients with 24 total beds
• Must be comfortable caring for pediatric patients (though not common)
• Care for patients across all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (all must be AHA certified)
• Skills required: Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Must have recent EPIC EMR experience and proficiency
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• 2+ years of travel experience required
• North Carolina license or Multistate license required
• Dress code: All navy or all white scrubs
• Must reside more than 40 miles from facility
• Driver's license required for address verification
