RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work in Medical PCU with almost ICU level acuity managing multiple cardiac drips
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5 for days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage required every other week per contract
• Floating required to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) within hospital or affiliate hospitals
• May be assigned charge nurse responsibilities with provided training and charge pay of $3.00 per hour
• Minimum 2 years PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required
• Must be comfortable titrating cardiac drips, starting IVs, and interpreting/managing dysrhythmias
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH
• Charge experience preferred
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• May be required to precept students or have students shadow
• Travel with patients for procedures as needed
• Care for patients with multi-organ failure, liver failure, and pulmonary conditions
• Manage stable vents and provide tracheostomy care
• First time travelers accepted
• Call-in shifts must be made up during pay period or added to end of contract
