Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week with facility allowed to call off 3 times throughout a 13-week assignment
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Call requirements minimal: 1600 to 0600 Monday-Friday and 24 hours on weekends
• Work with 4 general rooms, 1 SPECT/CT, and 2 PET/CT rooms
• Handle both inpatient and outpatient cases
• Required certifications: ARRT N or NMTCB, ARRT R, BLS, NM State License (PET license preferred)
• Perform IV starts, phlebotomy, and work with PACS system
• Conduct diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging including cardiac studies, bone scans, HIDA scans, MUGA scans, renograms, liver/spleen imaging, and infection imaging
• Perform SPECT/CT scans including MIBG, whole body I-123 and I-131 imaging, and Y-90 imaging
• Conduct PET/CT scanning including FDG, Dotatate, and PSMA studies
• Administer therapies including I-131, Xofigo, and Lutathera
• Handle storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials
• Work with adults and geriatric patients (required), with preferred experience in neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
• Use Cerner charting system
• Wear hunter green scrubs
• Complete orientation modules within first 4 billable hours
• No floating within facility or to sister facilities
