Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PACU
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour shifts with alternating weekdays and alternating start times between 6:30-8:30 AM
• Patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2
• Required to take call 1 night per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend call required once every 4 weekends with 24-hour call Saturday and Sunday
• No floating required between units
• Minimum 1 year PACU experience and 2 years Med Surg experience required
• Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
• South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (American Heart Association only)
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks as guaranteed hours allowance
• Epic charting system used
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Free parking available
• Must be aware of hurricane season emergency response team assignments from June through November
• Skills include airway assessment, dysrhythmia recognition/management, IV vasopressors, pain assessment & management, reversal agents, and nerve blocks
• Care for adolescent, adult, and pediatric patients

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
