RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 26-week contract (non-negotiable)
• 36 guaranteed hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 shifts
• Position in Clinical Decision Unit (2 East)
• 18 months telemetry/acute care experience required; 2 years preferred
• PCU experience required
• Must have strong vasoactive drip experience
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Will float to all 3 hospitals (Martin North, South, Tradition - within 20 miles)
• Skills required: telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/stepdown, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central line care/management, peripheral line care/management, manage cardiac drips (no titration)
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• White scrubs required
• EPIC charting system
• EKG and Pharm test required during orientation (2 attempts max for each)
• Time-sensitive modules required (average 6-15 hours, non-billable)
• All RTO must be included at time of submission
• First-time travelers accepted
• Free parking available
