Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call requirements: approximately 10 days per month including one weekend per month
• 13-week contract assignment available
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Required certifications: BCLS, CST certification
• Must have circulating and scrub experience
• Minimum 2 years CVOR experience required
• Travel experience required
• Preferred: CNOR certification and scrub experience
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Work with adult and geriatric patients (ages 20s to 90s)
• Operate in 3-room surgical unit with PYXIS medication system
• Perform procedures including aortic valves, mitral valves, CABG, VATS, thoracotomy, TAVR, robotic thoracic surgery, and various cardiac procedures
• Must be comfortable floating to other units based on census and skill sets
• Cannot work more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week per fatigue policy
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Complete 8-10 hours of non-billable modules pre-start and annually
• First-time travelers accepted
