RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour shifts with self-scheduling flexibility
• Maintain 1:2 patient ratios during days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend requirement: every third weekend
• No on-call responsibilities required
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (NIH/NIHSS preferred)
• 3 years of ICU experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Must have Indiana state license and required certifications in hand prior to start
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• 100% floating required within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals
• Provide care for adult surgical, neuro, and trauma ICU patients
• Daily census ranges from 14-18 patients in 18-bed unit
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Skills include ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, CVVHD/CRRT, and managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays during assignment
• 2 supervisor references required for submission
