RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every 3rd weekend and holidays as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:6 (one unit rotates with 1:7 equal acuity)
• Float required between all Cone Health campuses if needed
• Minimum 1 year experience required - no first time travelers
• Acute care rehab experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• BLS certification required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Zero tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Must be flexible with scheduling
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, neurological diagnoses, and generalized debility
• Provide specialized inpatient rehabilitation care for patients post-stroke, aneurysm, post-op surgical, brain injury, and spinal cord injury
• Skills include interpretation of laboratory results, medication reconciliation, vital signs monitoring, dressing changes, phlebotomy, and telephone triage
• Daily census of 39 patients across 49 beds
• Access to interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
