RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiac Tele

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday only
• Department operates from 5:30 AM to 9:00 PM with no weekends or holidays
• 4:1 patient ratio during day shifts
• Self-scheduling available with one pre-approved time off request
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Telemetry experience and cardiac monitoring skills required
• Must understand care of arterial and venous access patients including radial and ulnar access
• Knowledge of hemostasis monitoring and management for arterial/venous access patients
• Experience with pre/post care for Cath lab, EP lab, PV lab, and interventional radiology patients
• Same Day PCI patient care experience essential
• Must pass mandatory EKG exam with 2 attempts allowed
• Work with special equipment including TR band, Femostop, and telemetry interpretation
• Care for adult patients aged population only
• Daily census ranges from 25-32 patients in 19-room unit
• May be required to float to other campuses if needed
• Complete 2-4 hours of non-billable modules during orientation
