RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• 8-week assignment duration
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Patient ratio of 1:5 during days, nights, and weekends
• Required to float to Medical/Surgical units
• Must have 2 years of nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, Alabama license
• Required work settings experience: MS/Tele, Telemetry, and PCU/Stepdown
• Strong cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required
• Must be able to start IVs and follow Heparin protocols
• Manage cardiac drips with no titration responsibilities
• Skills include telemetry interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with rapid response/code teams, blood product administration
• Central and peripheral line care/management required
• Oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must complete facility modules during orientation (average 8 hours)
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
