RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Level II special care nursery providing care to neonates 32 weeks and up that do not require ventilated care
• Patient ratio of 3:1 during nights and weekends
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Two contract options available: 36 hours or 48 hours
• 36-hour orientation period required
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed
• 2 years of NICU experience required
• Level II or III NICU experience ideal
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Charting system: Allscripts (Altera experience preferred)
• Travel experience preferred
• Must be available to complete lab requirements within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Facility conducts mandatory drug screening upon arrival including marijuana testing
• Care for patients with diagnoses including transitional respiratory distress, thermoregulation issues, and glucose control
• Work with special equipment including Bubble CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Panda Warmer, and Giraffe isolettes
• Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Rapid Response Teams
