RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call requirements: 3 weeknights and 2 weekends in 6 weeks
• 1:1 patient ratio during days, nights, and weekends
• 40 hours of orientation required
• 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CNOR
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Experience in surgical specialties including General, Ortho, Urology, Vascular, Neuro, Robotic, Thoracic, Pulmonary, or Breast/Plastic surgery preferred
• Must be comfortable working with adults and geriatric patients
• Extensive surgical skills required including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, robotic surgeries, laparoscopic procedures, and various specialty surgeries
• Work in 14-room operating suite with daily census of 38-47 cases
• Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
• Two supervisor references required
• No time off permitted during first two weeks of assignment
