RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 2 years of experience required
• CVOR experience and open-heart surgery experience required
• Must be able to scrub and circulate for heart and vascular cases
• Circulate only for structural heart cases
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Weekend call required - 4 shifts per 6-week schedule
• On-call schedule includes 2 Friday nights (4:30 PM - 7:00 AM), 2 Saturday and 2 Sunday 24-hour shifts, and 4 weekday calls (4:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Work with adult patients in 3-room unit with daily census of 1-9 patients
• Handle procedures including TAVR, CABG, valve replacements, thrombectomy, carotid endarterectomy, and cardioversion
• Compact license or MD license required at time of submission
• Two supervisor references required
• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing
• Labs and drug screen appointment must be completed within 48 hours of signing

The unit specializes in complex procedures including coronary artery bypass grafts, valve replacements, structural heart interventions, and vascular surgeries. The facility maintains state-of-the-art equipment and technology to support a wide range of cardiovascular procedures and offers extensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.
