RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• 8-week assignment duration
• Every other weekend (EOW) schedule required
• Weekend coverage required
• Patient ratio of 1:5 during days, nights, and weekends (up to 6 patients)
• Float to Medical-Surgical units as needed
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Alabama nursing license required
• Must have experience in MS/Telemetry, Telemetry, and PCU/Stepdown units
• Strong cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required
• Must be able to start IVs and follow Heparin protocols
• Manage cardiac drips without titration
• Skills include telemetry interpretation, dysrhythmia management, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care
• Experience with oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions required
• Must be proficient with any charting system
• Accepts first-time travelers
• Requested time off must be 7 days maximum
• Non-billable orientation modules averaging 8 hours
