RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 3x12 schedule with every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 across all shifts
• Float within skillset as needed
• No on-call requirements
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• 2 years of ER experience required with travel experience mandatory
• Must have worked in an ED setting with at least 45,600 visits per year (125/day) within past 8 months
• Triage experience required (hard stop)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Must have Maryland license or compact license
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions
• Care for patients of all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Skills include BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, phlebotomy, IV management, and triage
• Fast-paced environment requiring expert prioritization and organizational skills
• 130 daily census with 40 rooms and 40 beds
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
