RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Rotating days and nights schedule with block scheduling
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage required with every other holiday work requirement
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Work in 40-bed/40-room emergency department
• Serve patients of all age groups: pediatrics, adolescents, and adults
• Float within hospital when needed
• Clock in and out using badge with supervisor-signed timesheets required
• Two pre-approved time off periods allowed per contract
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, CCM (AHA only)
• Valid PA license or Compact license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Comprehensive emergency care skills including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and psychiatric emergencies
• Work with specialized equipment including stroke telemedicine, Ceribell continuous EEG, and ultrasound IV placement
• Complete mandatory non-billable modules (approximately 1 hour) prior to facility entry
