Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• McKesson system experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS
• Perform MRI scans on patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics
• Handle routine neuro imaging, body imaging, MSK procedures, cardiac imaging, and whole body imaging
• Operate Siemens Aera and Vida software platforms on 1.5T and 3T MRI scanners
• Prepare and administer contrast media when needed
• Start peripheral IVs as required
• Work with both inpatient and outpatient populations
• May float within scope when needed
• BSN preferred
• Must complete orientation modules during first week
• Natural nail policy enforced
• Daily census of approximately 60 patients across 4 MRI rooms

This major medical center operates a comprehensive MRI department located in the Gateway Basement area featuring four state-of-the-art MRI scanners. The facility provides advanced imaging services seven days a week, handling a wide range of cases from routine neurological and musculoskeletal imaging to complex cardiac procedures and whole body scans. The department serves diverse patient populations and maintains high-quality standards for both emergency and scheduled imaging needs.
