RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) assignment
• Must have 18 months of permanent experience in specialty prior to travel assignments
• Must have 18 months of recent pediatric experience (travel experience accepted)
• Experience in epilepsy monitoring and specialized care for patients up to 25 years of age
• Must work at least every other holiday
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, PALS, EKG interpretation, and inotropes knowledge
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Must have permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment must be completed during orientation with acceptable scores
• Maximum of 2 attempts to pass required assessments
• Hours submitted through Qualivis Lotus system
• One reference from manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in specialty required
• Pre-start modules average 6-15 hours with 4 hours billable
• Badge pickup and onsite fingerprinting required prior to start date
