RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - MICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend coverage required, may change based on need
• Patient ratios of 1:1-2 for days, nights, and weekends
• Floating required to like units at facility or other facilities in the area when census is low
• Must have minimum 2 years of experience in MICU field
• Must have at least 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and SC RN license
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses including COVID ICU cases
• Skills required: care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Daily census of 7 patients in 11-bed unit
• Pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours of receiving login information
• Orientation occurs every Monday
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• One pre-approved time off request allowed per contract
• Must be over 100 miles from every facility in the system to be eligible for full rate

This healthcare facility operates a specialized Medical Intensive Care Unit providing critical care services to adult and geriatric patients. The facility features an 11-bed MICU with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy services. The organization utilizes EPIC electronic medical records system and maintains high standards for patient care with experienced nursing staff.
