Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday to Friday 5x8 hour shifts with 1 hour lunch break
• Rotating weekend schedule - work every 4th to 5th weekend
• Call coverage required on scheduled weekends plus 1-2 weekdays per week
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Perform echocardiograms including TEE and intraoperative studies
• Conduct vascular studies with registered technologist supervision if registry eligible
• Perform stress echos, TCD's and TCOM's as applicable
• Complete EKG's, stress tests, holter monitoring and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring
• Assist with clerical and reception duties
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and stock levels
• Work with various ultrasound systems including GE, Philips, Siemens, and SonoSite
• Care for patients of all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ARDMS or CCI registered in Vascular Technology
• Preferred certification: ARDMS or CCI registered in Echocardiography
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Complete non-billable orientation modules averaging 6-7 hours via HealthStream

This medical center is a 300-bed healthcare facility that serves a diverse patient population with a daily census of approximately 100 patients and 30 visits per day. The facility offers comprehensive cardiovascular services and maintains modern diagnostic equipment for echocardiography and vascular studies. The organization provides interdisciplinary support through respiratory services and rapid response teams, ensuring comprehensive patient care across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics.
