Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts Monday through Friday with 1 hour lunch break
• Rotating weekend schedule working every 4th to 5th weekend
• Call coverage required on scheduled weekends plus 1-2 weekdays per week
• Perform echocardiograms including TEE and intraoperative studies
• Conduct vascular studies with registered technologist supervision when registry eligible
• Perform stress echos, TCD studies, and TCOM studies as applicable
• Conduct EKGs, stress tests, holter monitoring, and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring
• Assist with clerical and reception duties
• Maintain continuing education requirements
• Keep work areas stocked and equipment clean
• Assume supervisor responsibilities when needed
• Work with patients of all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Handle approximately 30 visits per day
• Required certifications: Basic Life Support, ARDMS or CCI Registered in Vascular Technology
• Preferred certification: ARDMS or CCI Registered in Echocardiography
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Must have vascular registry required and echo registry preferred
