RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 evening/night rotation with shift times of 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 2 weekends required per 6-week period
• Call required: possibly 5-6 shifts per six-week period during day/evening hours
• Float required to cover ICU when needed
• Patient ratio of 2:1 for all shifts
• 16 hours of orientation provided
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Must have 2 years of experience required
• ICU experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Pediatric PACU, Phase I, Phase II recovery, and Pre-post experience required
• CERNER charting system experience required
• Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam achieving at least 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Care for patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Handle various surgical procedures including orthopedic, GYN, vascular, ENT, endoscopy, colorectal, pediatric dental, breast, and neuro/spine cases
• Manage post-operative care with interdisciplinary support from physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy
• First-time travelers accepted
• No more than 7 days RTO permitted per 13-week contract with no time off during first two weeks
