Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS, and SCRQSA license
• Must have at least 1 year of EPIC experience
• 16 hours of orientation required
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Pre-assignment testing and modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login information
• Floating to other units and campuses may be required based on census needs
• Work with patients of all age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Perform external beam therapy, IMRT, stereotactic radiosurgery, and other radiation therapy procedures
• Utilize equipment including TrueBeam, Varian systems, CT simulation, and various imaging technologies
• Conduct patient/family teaching and maintain radiation safety protocols
• Handle emergency cases and work with specialized treatments including prostate cancer with seeds/fiducials
• Must be more than 100 miles from any facility location to be eligible for travel assignment
