Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 shift schedule during day hours
• Must scrub and circulate in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR)
• On-call requirements: Vascular (7-10 days including weekends), Hearts (10-15 days plus 2 weekends)
• Weekend call includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Call frequency depends on staffing levels
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• 30 hours of orientation required
• Must have 2+ years of experience
• Work with adult and geriatric patients
• 5 operating rooms with 6 beds available
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NBSTSA
• Must have successful completion of Surgical Technology program or military training
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification accepted if previously employed as ST in South Carolina prior to January 1, 2008
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Must be 50+ miles from facility to be eligible for travel assignment
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• May float to other units as needed based on census requirements

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
