RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Observation Unit

Job Details:

• Work in the Clinical Decision Unit (2 East) with telemetry and progressive care responsibilities
• 26-week contract position (not flexible)
• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 hour shifts
• Float to all 3 hospitals within 20-mile radius (Martin North, South, Tradition)
• 18 months telemetry/acute care experience required; 2 years preferred
• PCU experience and vasoactive drip experience required
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS (must have at submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• White scrubs required
• EPIC charting system
• Free parking in unrestricted spaces
• EKG and pharmacy tests required during orientation (2 attempts maximum)
• Complete 6-15 hours of non-billable modules pre-start
• Time sensitive modules must be prioritized upon assignment confirmation
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
• No license hits accepted
• Two supervisor/manager references required
