Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Associate degree in radiation therapy required
• Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must be willing to float to other units and campuses as needed based on census requirements
• Work with patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform external beam therapy, IMRT, stereotactic radiosurgery, and various radiation treatments
• Operate equipment including TrueBeam, CT simulation, and ARIA systems
• Conduct chart checks, tumor localization, and patient/family teaching
• Handle emergency cases and respiratory gating procedures
• Complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receiving login information
• Annual flu vaccination required
• Must provide social security number with submittal
• Orientation begins every Monday
