RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12's or 40 hours for 8/10's
• 1-2 years Open Heart ICU experience with ventilator management required
• Will float to all 3 hospitals (Martin North, South, Tradition - within 20 miles)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Experience required with Swans, IABP, Impella, Hemodynamics and post heart recovery
• EPIC charting system experience required
• White scrubs required
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum
• Skills required: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, arterial line management, central line care, continuous IV sedation, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, ABG interpretation, and suctioning
• Time-sensitive modules must be completed pre-start (6-15 hours, non-billable)
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted at same rate
