RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• 2 years of nursing experience required - Unit accepts first time travelers
• Patient ratio of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend coverage required
• No call responsibilities
• Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
• No block schedule requests accepted
• 6 hours of orientation required
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of 20 patients across 20 rooms and 20 beds
• Must work holidays if they fall during assignment period (1-2 holidays = work all; 3 holidays = work 2)
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed per contract
• Full compliance required to start on time or 2-week pushback due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Skills required include feeding tube care, IV management, telemetry, wound care, PCA, PICC line management, and use of rapid response teams
• Must complete core compliance items within 48 hours of contract signing
