Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling options of 5x8 or 4x10 shifts based on clinic needs
• 5x8 shifts: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, occasionally 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• 4x10 shifts: Staggered between 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM with 30-minute lunch
• 13-week contract duration only
• No call, float, or weekend requirements
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Float between two clinical sites in Wilmington area (30-minute drive between locations)
• Primary site has 3 Varian linacs and one CT sim; sister site has one Varian True Beam and Siemens CT simulator
• Work with adult outpatient population treating approximately 110 patients per day
• Always paired with at least one other therapist - never work alone
• Will NOT be expected to cut blocks, perform CT sims alone, or perform dose calculations
• MD and RN always on-site throughout the day
• Required to work Storm Team/Hurricane Team during catastrophic events
• Minimum 2 years experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS
• Experience with ARIA charting system required
• Royal blue scrubs required (not provided)
• No orientation needed - start directly in clinic
• 8 hours of non-billable modules required
• Cannot work more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
