RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide medical-surgical nursing care for adult and geriatric patients
• Work with patient ratios of 6:1 during days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No call responsibilities
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• 2 years of experience required - unit accepts first-time travelers
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Required skills include central line blood draw, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV management, telemetry monitoring, pre/post hemodialysis management, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Care for patients with diagnoses including general medical-surgical conditions, peritoneal dialysis, and radial bands recovery (no PCI)
• Work with 20-bed unit serving approximately 20 patients daily
• Holiday work requirements: work major holidays that fall during assignment period
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract
• Full compliance required to start on time with all documents due Tuesday prior to start date
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
