Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 07:00-17:30 or 07:30-18:00 with rotating days off
• Handle daily caseload of approximately 25 patients
• Call required one day per week and one weekend in 13 weeks
• 8 hours of orientation required
• Complete up to 8 hours of non-billable modules within 1 week of signing
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: State license, ARRT, BLS
• Virginia license required for radiology positions
• PACS, biopsies, and contrast skills required
• Extensive IR/Angio special procedures experience required including stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephogram, kyphoplasty, peripherals, drainages, and various vascular studies
• Experience with accessing/managing ports, central venous access, embolization, and interventional procedures
• Siemens equipment experience preferred
• Epic charting system preferred
• Provide pre/intra/post procedure care for inpatient, ED, and outpatient populations
• Work with interdisciplinary team including radiologists, midlevel providers, RNs, CNAs, and technologists
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
• First-time travelers accepted

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive interventional radiology department that provides advanced imaging and minimally invasive procedures. The department operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call coverage for all other hours. The facility maintains state-of-the-art equipment and focuses on delivering high-quality patient care across inpatient, emergency department, and outpatient populations.
