RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Guaranteed 36 hours for 12-hour shifts or 3 shifts for 8/10-hour shifts
• 18 months experience required, 2 years preferred
• Circulate procedures in IR/IN and care for patients in prep/recovery phase
• Must respond to hospital within 30 minutes when on call
• Float to all 3 hospitals (Martin North, South, Tradition - within 20 miles)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum
• Time sensitive modules must be prioritized first once confirmed (6-15 hours, non-billable)
• White scrubs required
• EPIC charting system
• Skills required: Interventional Radiology, Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Sheath Removal/Monitoring, Vascular Closure Systems
• All RTO must be submitted at time of application
• First-time travelers accepted
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)

This is a 180-bed short-term acute care facility that operates as a smoke-free environment with strict compliance policies. The facility utilizes EPIC charting systems and provides free parking for staff. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and has implemented comprehensive orientation programs including specialized modules and testing requirements to ensure quality clinical performance.
