RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 3x12 shifts
• 3 years of ICU experience required with strong PCU experience
• Must be comfortable floating between ICU, PCU, Med-Surg, and Emergency Department as needed
• Handle higher patient ratios and work as resource traveler based on departmental needs
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Indiana state license must be in hand prior to start date
• Travel experience required - first time travelers not accepted
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Dress code: Red scrub top with black scrub bottoms
• Use Cerner charting system
• Care for adult patients with diagnoses including ARDS, COPD, STEMI, NSTEMI, DKA, AKI, UTI, and acute shock
• Perform procedures including cath lab support, TR bands, sheath pulls, EEGs, cardioversion, and stress tests
• Work with specialized equipment including ventilators, Arctic Sun, and balloon pumps
• Manage ventilated patients, arterial lines, central lines, IV drips, and various monitoring equipment
• 12-bed ICU unit with daily census of approximately 7 patients
• Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and transportation
