RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend rotation and holiday rotation required
• No call responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• Cardiac telemetry experience required
• Must have experience with management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Peripheral line care/management and PICC line management experience needed
• Must be able to titrate drips
• PCU experience required with appropriate ratios
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Subject to floating between all Cone Health campuses as needed
• Care for adult patients on 34-bed general medical progressive care unit
• All beds are telemetry monitored with cardiac surveillance
• Handle primary diagnoses including stroke backup, renal disorders, sepsis, endocrine disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, and hematological disorders
