Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 13 or 26 week assignment available
• On-call responsibilities include approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks
• Ideal candidates must have experience in both Cath Lab and Angio with scrub experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R, OBMI (Oregon state license)
• Must be willing to float within site and across the health system as requested
• Scrub experience required as 1st assistant to operator
• Work with complex cardiac interventions utilizing equipment such as OCT, IVUS, Rotoblator, Shockwave, drug coated balloons, and CTO equipment
• Handle insertion of impella CP, RP, 5.5, IABP, Manifold, balloon/stent prep and deployment, and pericardiocentesis procedures
• Work with adults and geriatric patient populations
• Complete assigned education within one week of assignment
• Must maintain sterile technique and sterile field during procedures
• Participate in equipment setup and supply stocking
• Oregon state license or proof of license application with fingerprints required
• Cannot live within 50 miles of any Legacy facility

Facility:

This is an acute care teaching hospital and Level I Trauma center with 554 staffed beds. The facility features a brand new Cath Lab building with 7 rooms equipped with state-of-the-art Philips Azurion systems. The department offers western-facing windows with scenic views, dedicated private call rooms with showers for Cath Lab staff, and dedicated EVS/turnover staff available 7 days per week including overnight. The facility uses Epic charting system and provides free parking in unrestricted spaces.
