Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (8-hour shifts)
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• No Saturday coverage required
• Float to all other radiation oncology locations as needed
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Must have 1 year of experience
• Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS, NY License
• NYS Radiologic Technologists Therapy License required
• EPIC charting system experience is mandatory
• Experience on Ethos or Varian machines preferred
• Skills include: Adult Acute Care, Custom Molds, Custom Shield, Tumor Localization, Block cutting, B-Mode Acquisition targeting, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, Compensation filters, Portal cast, Wedges, Calculate dose of radiation, External Beam Therapy, IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, Lift/transfer devices, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Radiation Safety
• Must demonstrate flexibility, strong communication skills, adaptability, dependability and punctuality
• Candidates must be located more than 75 miles from facility
• Pre-start modules required (up to 5 billable hours)
