RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week with facility allowed to call off 6 times throughout 13-week assignment
• Patient ratios: ICU 1:1-2, MS/Tele 1:4-5
• Must be open to floating between ICU and MS/Tele units where most needed
• Work every other weekend as required
• 2 years of nursing experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Travel experience required
• Must have ICU experience and preferably PCU/MS/Tele work history
• Required certifications: Active unrestricted Arizona RN license or compact license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must be able to care for all types of critically ill patients including neuro and trauma patients
• Skills required: arterial line management, ventilated patient care, central line management, CVA/stroke management, ICP monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, neurosurgery management, spinal cord injury care, IV management, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, traumatic brain injury care, and ventilator management
• Work with standard med surg/tele equipment and Liko lifts in patient rooms
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Use Cerner charting system
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• No on-call responsibilities
• Care for adults and geriatric patients with daily census of 6-8 patients
• Must work 2 out of 3 holidays and be flexible team player
