Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM or 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week with rotating schedule
• Adult outpatient setting treating 20-35 patients per day
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Float within scope between treatments and simulations as needed
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, RT (R) (T), WV RT Board License
• Skills required: CBCT/kV/mV imaging, External Beam Therapy, IMRT, Prophylactic Treatments, Radiation Safety
• Preferred skills: CT Simulation, Tumor Localization, Treatment Planning, Tomo Therapy, Chart check, Patient/family teaching
• Minimum 1 year of experience required, first-timers accepted
• Documentation systems: Mosaiq and iKnowMed, EMR: McKesson
• Must complete fit test in advance using approved masks
• Flu vaccine required unless medical exemption documented by physician
• Must live greater than 100 miles from facility
• Orientation every other Thursday, with 2-6 hours of non-billable modules to complete prior to start
