RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work on a 26-bed orthopedic spine unit specializing in spinal surgeries including laminectomies, spinal fusions, and discectomies
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 patients
• Every other weekend requirement with 6 weekend shifts per contract
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Must have 1+ years of recent orthopedic experience
• 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Care for patients with medical/surgical, telemetry, cardiac, low-risk ACS, TIAs, diabetes, hypertension, COPD, dehydration, chest pain, DVT, and PE diagnoses
• Perform special procedures including bedside lumbar puncture, post catheterization care (radial/femoral), post-surgical care, post renal biopsy, CT Angio, and Heparin drips
• Work with telemetry equipment, bedside pulse oximetry, dinamaps, and glucometers
• Must be willing to float to other units or campuses as needed based on census concerns
• Complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receiving login information
• Must have active South Carolina or multistate nursing license
• Social Security Number required with submittal
• Orientation begins every Monday

The facility features 641 licensed beds and offers advanced specialty programs including cardiac care, stroke, and vascular services. The orthopedic spine unit provides comprehensive care with integrated pain management, physical therapy, and mobility support, supported by interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
