Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Call required every 3rd day after 6:00 PM and every 3rd weekend
• Outpatient work setting experience required
• Must be located more than 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)
• NY license must be in hand prior to submission
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• Floating to different units required
• Required certifications: ARDMS, BLS
• Preferred certifications: ARRT-Sonography, RDMS-AB, RDMS-OB, RDMS-BR, RDMS-Peds, RVT
• Perform basic ultrasound procedures including OB, abdominal, DVT, carotids, breast imaging
• Scan patients from pediatric to adult age groups
• Perform common invasive procedures including thoracentesis and paracentesis
• Biopsies experience preferred
• Pre-start modules required (up to 5 billable hours)
• Background check reviewed on case-by-case basis
• First-time travelers accepted
