Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour shifts on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 1 year of MRI experience required
• 1 year of Epic charting experience required
• Must have active South Carolina ARRT MR license and BLS certification
• Required certifications: ARRT(R)(CT), BLS
• Must be proficient in adult acute care and outpatient settings across all age groups (neonate through older adult)
• Perform imaging of chest, abdomen, pelvis, head (with and without contrast), musculoskeletal trauma, and spine
• Handle contrast media preparation/administration and start peripheral IVs
• Experience required with GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba equipment and PACS systems
• Must follow isolation precautions protocols
• Floating to other units/campuses required based on census and qualifications
• Complete pre-assignment modules within 48 hours (up to 16 billable hours)
• 10 hours of orientation provided
• First-time travelers not accepted
• No pending licenses accepted

Facility:

This facility is a 641-bed regional community teaching medical center that serves as a Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. The hospital offers advanced specialty programs including cardiac care, stroke, and vascular services. The facility features modern MRI equipment including GE and Siemens systems, with 3 MRI rooms serving approximately 40 patients daily. The organization provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, transportation, and unit secretary services.
