RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week for 3x12 schedule or 40 hours per week for 8/10 schedule
• Two weekends per month required
• Float to all 3 hospitals within the system (Martin North, South, Tradition - within 20 miles)
• At least 2 years of ER experience required (18 months minimum, 2 years preferred)
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, PALS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Epic experience at level 3 or 4 required
• White scrubs required
• Epic charting system
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum for each
• Complete time-sensitive modules (non-billable, average 6-15 hours) before start date
• No on-call responsibilities
• First-time travelers accepted
• All requested time off must be included at initial submission
• Skills include arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, central line care, IV vasopressors, and trauma care
