RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts with 4:1 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No call responsibilities
• Float within facility to other acute care units within scope of practice as needed
• Must work major holidays if they fall during assignment period
• Minimum 1 year experience required - unit does not accept first time travelers
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience required
• GA or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Skills required include cardiac telemetry, central line care, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV insulin protocols, PCA management, PICC line management, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, and use of rapid response teams
• Care for adult and geriatric patients in 19-bed IMC unit with daily census of 17
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract with all time off finalized at submission
• Full compliance required to start on time with documents due Tuesday prior to start date
