RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Work with adult to geriatric patient population
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Patient ratios: 1:2-3 ICU, 1:4-5 PCU, 1:5-6 MS/MS Tele
• Primary ICU float position with floating required to all MS, MS/Tele, PCU, ICU units within the hospital
• Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere (average 6 weekends in 13-week contract)
• No call requirements
• Must work major holidays if they fall during assignment period
• Epic charting system experience required, also use Pyxis and SBAR
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract with blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Care for all potential MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU diagnoses
• Skills include arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care, blood product administration, and neuro intensive care
• Georgia or Compact license required at time of submission
• Full compliance required to start on time with 2-week pushback if not compliant
