RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call required with 30-minute response time (non-negotiable)
• Open heart OR experience required
• No first-time travelers accepted unless candidate has open heart OR experience
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• ECMO, LVAD, and Impella experience required
• Scrub experience strongly preferred
• Experience with CABG, Mitral/Tricuspid/Aortic valve procedures, Aortic dissections, pericardial window, and chest cases including Thoracotomies and VATS
• Robotic experience in chest cases preferred
• Must pass mandatory EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Skills include: Chest tube insertion/removal, ECMO, IABP, TAVR, VAD, circulating, and scrubbing
• Subject to float to any campus if needed
• Must complete compliance file by 12 noon EST Wednesday prior to start date
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Adult patient population
