RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Float pool position covering approximately 5 Med/Surg Intermediate/PCU departments across metro campuses
• Patient ratio of 1:5 for all shifts
• 1-2 years of nursing experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts every 6 weeks (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
• Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments as needed per unit
• 12 hours of orientation required
• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: ACLS
• Must have Kansas and Missouri licenses or compact license at time of submission
• Required skills: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown experience
• Must be competent in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with Pre/Post Cardiac Cath procedures required
• Handle patient diagnoses including Sepsis, ETOH, Renal Failure, AFIB, GIB, Stroke
• Work with specialized equipment including Virtual Nurses, 12 lead EKG, AirVo, Voalte, Omnicell
• Epic charting system experience required
• Complete compliance modules within specified timeframes before start date
